ALPTRANSIT BRENNER – Brenner Eisenbahn GmbH has awarded Austria's largest-ever contract for railway engineering infrastructure!
With the completion of this 260 million euro project, the Lower Inn Rail Link will become the main connection to the future Brenner Base Tunnel.
Responsible for construction: Rhomberg Bahntechnik GmbH and Alpine Bau GmbH.
We will be providing a major contribution to the reshaping of Europe's transport system.
Reduced noise emissions and shorter journey times between Berlin and Palermo will become a reality.
Passenger and goods traffic on this section will be even more environmentally friendly and quicker.
We shall achieve this objective by working in partnership in the "Arbeitsgemeinschaft ALPTRANSIT BRENNER" consortium (ARGE).
